The patina leather interior of this S1 is particularly nice because it is original, has no tears or rips and is nice and supple. The engine and gearbox are in nice condition and the car handles and drives very well indeed. Most chromework is in very nice condition (front bumper is not great (some superficial rust), but the front overriders are) and the woodwork is undamaged. The car is in need of a respray; there is some superficial corrosion on the body but none of it is terminal. The chassis is nice and dry. This particular car stems from the last year of production of the S1 serie (production stopped in 1959 when the S2 was introduced) and all the technical glitches were ironed-out at that time. A lovely motor to drive and and an easy one to maintain. The mileage on this car is a odometer-readout. 2927 models left Crewe. The paintworks has some small blemishes (scratches at the left quarter panel), but no corrosion or dents. It does not need a respray, just a little care and attention. The car is factory fitted with electrically operated windows and has an ice-cold airconditioner. A very comfortable and elegant car. Finished in two-tone Georgian Silver over Graphite with a lovely patina black leather interior with black carpeting. A very nice original car first registered in The Netherlands. The car has a factory fitted, manually operated, metal sunroof (very rare!). The condition of the car inside and out is very nice indeed with nice wood- (a stunning dashboard) and good chromework. The paint has some blemishes but is overall good. The last owner recently spend some 7.000euro on repairs and maintainance. A very early, low-mileage (53899km) car beeing one of the first thousand Bentleys T1 ever produced. The T1 (together with the Silver Shadow) is the first car by Rolls-Royce that is of a chassisless monocoque construction. When compared to previous models it is almost a lightweight. Hence the 6.23 litre V8 engine gives the performance of a sports car. A sportive looking, driving and sound handling T1 in the right colour combination.
