This low-mileage car has lived in the states so no corrosion is present anywhere. This Continental is of the last productionyear (in 1995 just 8 further cars were produced only fitted with turbochargers) so this is the best (almost all flaws are ironed out) and newest Continental you can purchase. There is a taboo in the aeronautical industry against introducing new aircraft with new engines, and this was followed by Rolls-Royce in the case of the new Continental R. The well-proven turbocharged engine from the Bentley Turbo R had been chosen to power what a press reporter termed as a sort of Crewes Missile. A very well maintained and lovely Bentley (timeless design) to see and drive. One of the cheapest, in very good condition, to be found anywere at the moment. € 44.950 Bentley Azure 1996 More info... Fitted with the 6.75 liter, Garret Airresearch turbocharged, V8 developping a staggering 385bhp at 4,000rpm and a maximum torque output of 750Nm at 2,000rpm for that extra bit of Schnell! Finished in Green metallic, Tan leather interior with turned aluminium features. With a shorter (4inch/10cm) chassis and wider stance than the Continental R, this Bentley is purpose build for outstanding performance. The Continental T is designed to thrill the most demanding of sportive drivers. The 6.75-litre turbocharged engine is specially tuned to develop a staggering 420 bhp (312kW) and the maximum torque figure rises to no less than 875 Nm (the greatest peak torque output of any production car in the world at that time and more than twice that of a Ferrari 550 Maranello). Such immense, but perfectly controlled power can catapult the Continental T from a standstill to 100km/h in a breathtaking 5.7 seconds. Top speed is 273 km/h.
